Great Barrier Reef Submarine Canyons and Landslides - Part 2

Dr Robin Beaman from James Cook University and a team of researchers have been busy mapping the deeper sections of the Great Barrier Reef margin which reach depths of around 2,000m. They've discovered over 100 canyons and weird and wonderful life including fascinating landscapes called Halimeda Bioherms created not by corals, but by humble green algae.
