The Barramundi Fishing industry has a slight dilemma... Sharks. They're not scared of them, rather scared of catching them in their nets and the resulting damage they cause to the nets. Wanting to protect their industry and shark numbers, scientists decided to explore ways to prevent sharks from getting caught in fishing nets in the first place. Enter magnets... Damian tested the effectiveness of magnets repelling different species of sharks and whether they could be applied to fishing nets.
